Nush / Ombar Collaboration

It’s no secret how much we love Ombar at Nush! Made with all vegan ingredients and sweetened with coconut nectar, perfect for satisfying even the most indulgent of cravings. So we were overjoyed to receive a stash of their delicious chocolate and quickly put it to good use to create these delicious chocolate brownies, made with gluten free oat flour, raw cacao and topped with a chocolate cream cheese frosting.

200 g oat flour
50 g almond flour
50 g cacao powder
1 tsp bicarb
80 g coconut sugar
sea salt
100 g Ombar, chopped into chunks
2 tbsp of coconut flour
1 cup of oat milk
100 g coconut oil melted
2 x tubs of natural almond m•lk ch•ese spread
3 tbsp of cacao powder
3 tbsp of maple syrup
100 g Ombar to decorate

Method

Preheat the oven to 180 degrees, and line a brownie tin with coconut oil and greaseproof paper. – mix all your dry ingredients together, including the chopped chocolate chunks

Stir in the wet ingredients and mix until well combined

Pour mixture into a baking tray and bake for 15-20 minutes

While brownies are cooling, mix together 2 pots of almond m•lk cheese spread with cacao powder and maple syrup, and whip until smooth and glossy

Slather cooled brownies with chocolate frosting and top with more chocolate chunks for that extra indulgence
