Strawberry Crunch Granola

Crisp, crunchy, quick, easy and delicious. Homemade granola is so simple and so much tastier than shop bought versions, plus you know exactly what goes in and you can tweak it to include pretty much whatever you want. This variation has freeze dried raspberries, slithered almonds and cashew nuts and marries so well with our Strawberry yog.

Method

Preheat the oven to 160 degrees while you get started on the granola

Place the oats, seeds, nuts and coconut sugar in a bowl before adding the wet ingredients and stir well

Bake for 15 minutes, checking the granola halfway, until it is golden brown in colour

Leave to cool completely (very important to keep your granola crunchy), add strawberries and toss well

Store in an airtight jar for up to three weeks

200 g gluten free oats

50 g sunflower seeds

50 g pumpkin seeds

100 g slithered almonds

100 g cashews

1 tbsp of coconut sugar

4 tbsp of coconut oil

3 tbsp of maple syrup or date syrup

50 g freeze dried strawberry pieces
