
Strawberry & Basil Porridge
Ingredients
70g oats
Pinch of salt
120ml almond drink
Splash of water
1 cup fresh strawberries
1/2 tsp sugar
A few hazelnuts & pistachios
Nush natural almond yog
Basil leaves
Lemon zest
Method
Chop up the strawberries into large chunks, and start to cook in a small saucepan on medium heat. Add the sugar and cook on low for 15 mins until the strawberries have softened and released their juices.
Stir the oats, protein & salt in a small pan. Add the almond drink and a splash of water. Cook on medium until it bubbles and thickens. Add more water and repeat until you have a creamy texture.
Serve the porridge in a bowl with the cooked strawberries, Nush natural yog, chopped hazelnuts/pistachios, grated lemon zest and a few basil leaves.
